چکیده

ابوزید با نگرشی هرمنوتیک، با استفاده از دو اصل تمایز دین با معرفت دینی و تاریخی نگری به بررسی سنت پرداخت. او تعریف اصطلاحی سنت و حجیت بخشی گسترده به آن را، معرفت دینی و مساله‌ای ساخته دانشمندان، در دوره‌ای متأخر از پیامبر(ص) دانست بنابراین دلیلی بر پذیرش آن ندید و آن را به نقد ‌کشید. ابوزید با تکیه بر تاریخی نگری، پیامبر(ص) را بشری محدود به شرایط زمان و مکان، دانست و سنت نبوی را مساله‌ای تاریخی، که نباید از آن تبعیت کرد. از دید او سنت پیامبر غیر وحیانی و همراه با خطاهای بشری بود و حتی در عصر نبوی نیز از آن تبعیت نمی‌شد و به همین دلیل تدوین و جمع آوری نگردید. دیدگاه ابوزید درباره سنت، به دلیل استفاده از مبانی ناکارآمد در این موضوع و استفاده سلیقه‌ای و غیر علمی از آنها، همچنین بی‌توجهی به شواهدی که ناقض دیدگاهش بود، با اشکالات جدی رو به روست؛ به همین دلیل نمیتوان دیدگاه ابوزید درباره سنت و حجیت آن را پذیرفت.

چکیده [English]

Abu Zeyd in his study of sunna, employing a hermeneutic approach, has based his study on two principles: making distinction between religion and religious knowledge and embracing historicism. He considers the term sunna and its wide authorization as religious knowledge, invented by scholars after the Holy Prophet (PBUH), therefore short of any justification. Based on historicism, he restricts the Prophet (PBUH) to the temporal and local circumstances of his life and considers his sunna as a historical issue which should not been followed.

To him, the prophetic sunna is not based on revelation, otherwise accompanied with human faults and not even followed in the prophecy era. Therefore it was not codified and collected. Abu Zeyd’s position on sunna suffers from significant flaws due to its relying on deficient principles and employing them selectively and not systematically, as well as neglecting documents opposed to his theory. Eventually his approach to sunna and its authenticity is not acceptable.
